Well, here we are in mid-Feb with snow covering the ground and a beautiful view off the front deck of the house looking up at the south parcel pasture. This is the most snow on the property since I bought it in 2020 and I suspect this will increasingly become a rarity over time. Despite pretty cold conditions here and across the rest of the US this month, worldwide, this is the warmest winter on record (remember, it is winter in the northern latitudes but summer in the south).
The new administration is doing everything it can to slow the reduction of emissions, only exacerbating the impact now and in the future of climate change, so hold on. Meanwhile, we will continue our slow but steady efforts to get the farm up and running, so stay tuned. SZ
